Remodeled Powder Room

We recently completed a bathroom remodeling project on our downstairs powder room and it only took one day which was right up my alley. Before it was very generic with a plain mirror and pedistool sink.  We knew we wanted something a little more glam, yet fresh looking. Those who are also planning to upgrade their bathroom should consider working with an expert in bathroom remodels to achieve their dream bathroom. You may also need to rent roll off dumpsters for the cleanup of your construction waste.

The first thing we did was paint the room with Sherman William’s Snowfall (SW6000) which is just a nice, light grey.  It’s a small space so we really wanted to brighten it up.  Next we did the entire back wall in this gorgeous, white quartz stone veneers.  The pictures literally do not give it justice on just how beautiful these stones are.
We replaced our old, boring sink with this amazing  vanity from Pottery Barn that has such a great marble top.  We also installed a white framed mirror and a stainless steel light fixture that has crystals on this inside (similar here).  I finished it off with some other Pottery Barn accessories (this rug and this hand towel both in grey mist).  I added some faux pink flowers and a white trash can and I was done!
This was by no means a DIY project, we hired a professional, but still I think the key to a quick and flawless remodel is to have a plan and a vision.  Since I was prepared and knew exactly what I wanted it was able to be finished in just one day.

xoxo
