I can not believe in less than four weeks my baby will be starting elementary school. Yes it is just the preK program in the mornings but still, it is such a big step and means he is growing up way too fast.
He does love school so much though so he is super excited about going back. I thought it was an appropriate time to share what we are buying and using to get us started with the new school year.
Back To School Essentials
Pottery Barn Kids is usually my go to for most things, especially for back to school. I love their backpacks because they are so high quality they last the entire year and beyond. I also love that I can get matching essentials like lunchboxes and water bottles. Being able to personalize it with your childs name is a huge plus.
Also, I have a ton of their food containers. Joseph doesn’t to stay for lunch he just brings a snack since he is only there in the mornings. However he is always hungry when he gets home so I always make his lunch the night before so it is ready as soon as he gets home. I am also guilty of cutting his sandwiches into shapes lol
One other back to school essentials, Elderberry! It is inevitable that kids are going to sick, especially in the beginning of the school year, but I personally believe that this lessons the frequency and the symptoms. We all take it during the fall and winter and it works out great for us!
