What is Smile Brilliant?
Smile Brilliant is an at home, professional grade teeth whitening system that utilizes custom-fitted trays. It is the same professional system you can get at the dentist but at a fraction of the price. So unlike using the strips in the past that don’t stay put, the custom fitted trays allow for the even and thorough whitening of your teeth.
I used the T3 Sensitive System for light stains. I received a set of custom trays, 9 whitening applications, and 9 desensitizing applications. The set is $149 but would easily cost $650 or more at the dentist. They have a ton of other systems available as well depending on your needs.
Getting Started
Smile Brilliant honestly could not make it easier. They send you a complete package with everything you need.
-The first thing you do is take your impressions. They send you the molds and very clear instructions on how to make them. It literally takes 10 minutes.
-You mail your molds back to the lab in the prepaid envelope they provide and the lab creates your custom trays in 3-5 days. So you will get them back super quick.
The Whitening Process
Once you receive the molds back you just sit back and whiten. Most people need 7-14 treatments to see full results and remove all stains. You should start out wearing them for 45-60 mins per treatment session and work your way up to 3 hours. I personally put them on at night after the kids go to bed. I take a bath, make their lunches for the next day, fold laundry, and take them out before I go to bed. It literally could not be more convenient. I am super busy with two little kids, running a real estate brokerage, and a blog full time and I found it very easy to make the time to use them.
Tooth Sensitivity
Like many people I have sensitive teeth (probably from all of those years of white strips HA). So Smile Brilliant makes teeth whitening much more comfortable for people like me. They have ‘sensitive’ packages that include a desensitizing gel that you can use for 20 minutes after each whitening session. This helps SO much!
My Results
After using Smile Brilliant for a few weeks I am super happy with the results. As you can see my teeth are much whiter and brighter than when I was using just the white strips in the past. The custom fitted trays will also last for such a long time that I can use them for maintenance for years to come.
