Classic Holiday Makeup Look and Tutorial

Let the holiday inspo begin! This is one of my first holiday makeup looks I will be sharing this holiday season. I don’t wear a red lip a ton except for this time of year. It’s just such a fun way to add a pop of color. Whenever I do a red lip I always try to opt for a more neutral eye. Here you can see a video of how I accomplish this look and I am linking all of the products that I used. I sped up the video just for the sake of time but this whole look only took me 15 minutes to do. Here is my classic holiday makeup look and tutorial.

Here is a breakdown of all of the products used.

Face

First I used First Aid’s Coconut Smoothie Primer . I only use primer for special events or when I need my makeup to last all day. I then used Georgia Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 6 (I always just apply with my hand). I use a Beauty Blender to blend, Becca Undereye brightener, and Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in medium-honey. I then use Laura Mercier’s Secret Brightening Powder to set under my eyes, and Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Powder Foundation to set it all. I also dabble on Laura Mercier’s Secret Camouflage Concealer if I still have some darkness.

Eyes

I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Carli Bybel Palette . The colors I used were Bear under my brow bone, Boli and Moo on my lids. I put Cindy and Chai in my crease, and then I used Boi on my bottom lash line as eyeliner and My Angels in the inner corner of my eye. I used Stila liquid Liner on the top in the micro tip, and a MAC white eyeliner Pencil to line my waterline. I used Ardell Wispies for Lashes with Duo eyelash Glue. I curled them to blend with my real lashes then did a coat of Benefit They’re Real Mascara. I also used Anasasia brow Gel, I then applied Stila Liquid shimmer in Golden Goddess to the inner part of my lid and blended it with my finger (this is optional and use only if you want more of glam factor).

Cheeks

I used Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer to contour then went over it with MAC Warm Soul Blush. For a pop of color on my cheeks I used MAC Gentle. To highlight I used Cover FX Drop in Moonlight then layered it with Anasatasia Beverly Hills Amrezy gold Highlighter (doing both really makes the highlighter pop). I use MAC shaping Powder in Emphasize to highlight and lighten on the top of my cheek under where my concealer is applied as well as underneath where I contoured to make it look more defined.

Lips

I used MAC’s Cherry lip Liner and filled in my lips and put MAC’s Dazzleglass in Love Alert on top. I have a hard time finding reds that work well for me and love this looks with my coloring.
