I don’t know about you but I basically live on coffee. Usually I have two hot cups in the morning and then an iced in the afternoon. I wanted to share with you the perfect iced coffee that not only tastes like a sweet treat, it is also packed with protein and good for you! This is my Caramel Chocolate Protein Iced Coffee recipe.
Caramel Chocolate Protein Iced Coffee
Here is everything that you need to make it:
- NutriBULLET (or blender of some sort)
- Cold Brew Iced Coffee (Califia is my favorite)
- Chocolate Protein Powder (Orgain is my go to because it is organic, plant based, and it tastes great)
- Collagen Protein Powder (Vital Proteins is favorite collagen powder because it is tasteless and has protein in it )
- Almond Milk (I opt for Vanilla unsweetened because it has a nice flavor without the extra calories or sugar)
- Caramel Sauce (this gives it that latte like flavor)
- A cup (this one is from Etsy)
Just an FYI I am not into measuring, I totally eye ball everything, but this is exactly what I do. I put a handful of ice in the blender and then fill with about 10 oz of coffee. I add the almond milk, a scoop of the protein powder, a scoop of the collagen powder, and a dash of the caramel sauce, then blend. That its literally it! The great thing about it is that you can make it to suit your taste so add more or less of whatever you want.
Not only does this give me that extra afternoon pick me up but I don’t need to make a separate protein shake anymore. It also satisfies my sweet tooth. This has been my go to lately to take outside with me when I take the kids in the pool in the afternoon.
