My Secret to Long Lashes

One of the things I get asked about most often is about my eye lashes.  Are they fake? What do I do to get them so long?  While I do love putting on fake lashes for special occasions I probably only end up doing it a few times a year, I always tend to go for a lash lift and brow lamination in brentwood los angeles.  I have found some awesome products that produce amazing results, especially when used correctly.  You can out my Instagram Story (saved under my Beauty Highlights tab) to see exactly how I do it.  You don’t need lash extensions for longer lashes either.  I often switch up the products that I use, but the process and steps always remain the same. Here is my secret to long lashes.  I think by doing the below, you will notice a huge difference in your lashes.

My Secret to Long Lashes | Revitalash serum

My Secret To Long Lashes

Lash Serum

The first thing is that I use Revitalash.  I have been using it for years now and I have seen AMAZING results.  My lashes are so much longer and fuller it isn’t even funny you guys.  I only apply it once a day right to my lash line so I usually use it at night after I wash off my makeup and do my evening skincare routine.  The thing with this product though is that you need to use it every single day so consistency is key.  It also takes a few months to see lash growth, it is not an instantaneous thing. Be patient because it is SO worth it.  I probably noticed longer eyelashes around month 4.

Also, I have never experienced any sort of side effects using it.  I will say that like with anything, you sometimes get used to it and stop seeing results.  That’s when I try other growth serums on the market.  But I always go back to this one.

You can also try a natural route to grow longer eyelashes.  I have heard of people using olive oils, coconut oil, and castor oil.  Personally, I never have done this so I can not speak if it works or not.  I will only recommend things that I have tried, which is the materials on this site.

How I Apply My Mascara

Eyelash Curler

I curl my lashes with an eyelash curler to length and perk up.

Eyelash Primer

A good eyelash primer is key.  A coat of Lancôme’s CILS Booster XL Primer or Marc Jacob’s Velvet Primer is a necessary step .  They are my two favorites.  It really helps lengthen and thicken the lashes before the mascara application and it really important in achieving thick lashes.

Mascara

I have to be honest, I use tons of different mascara’s.  I just love trying new products and it I just part of the job.

A coat of Maybelline’s Illegal Length Mascara.  This again lengthens and separates the lashes and also coats the primer.  This is the only one I put on my bottom lashes.

A coat of Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara.  This formula is awesome.  It really helps add volume and the brush head is so unique that it really helps you get in the corners really well and does not cause any clumng at all.  I also love this one by Marc Jacobs,  Gucci, It Cosmetic’s, and L’Oreal.

When I say a coat, it is really like a full minute of application but it is still just the one time and I do not let anything dry in between.  I feel like when I do that they start to clump.

This has been my tried and trued secret to long lashes for years now. It is a great alternative to eyelash extensions. You can easily make the most of your natural lashes and have longer lashes. Also be gentle on your lashes and use makeup remover on your eye area. Follow me on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app to shop all of my beauty favorites or shop directly on my blog.
