I don’t know about you, but I love to decorate my home for every holiday. Now that spring is officially here, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite tips on how to create a beautiful spring tablescape for your dining room.
You’ve probably seen very elegant and extravagant tablescapes on Pinterest, and as much as I love those, they aren’t easy to recreate, especially when you factor in how much it costs, so here are my tips on how to make your own simple tablescape! This is my easy tablescape idea for spring.
Easy Tablescape Idea for Spring
Picking A Color Palette
Think pastels and neutrals. You’ll want your tablescape to stand out, but you don’t want it to overpower the other spring decor in your home. You could use light green, robin’s egg blue, pastel pink, yellow or a light purple. In this case, I chose pink! My home is very light and bright with a lot of white so I like to break things up by adding some color. Also to be honest I decorate for ‘spring’ but keep it up until I break out my fall decor in September. So this is really my decorations I keep up most of the year. Plus it is so pretty I really love looking at it around the house!
Choosing Your Centerpiece
I opted for a pink floral arrangement that you can easily pick up from your local HomeGoods, Michael’s or any other craft store. This way, when it’s time to break out the spring table settings next year, you won’t have to buy all new flowers. You can also find some super affordable options on Amazon which is where these peonies are from. The cherry blossoms were more of a splurge but the honestly look and feel so real!
Dishes and Flatware
I set out my cutest white dishes, off white wooden chargers and felt, pastel blue placemats. I am in love with the ruffle detailing on this dish set. They are also melamine so they are super durable too which I love!
You can find most of your tablescape pieces in your home, but if you want to add some flare, check Target and HomeGoods for some decorative pieces. I am also going to link everything below.
