Master Bedroom Sitting Area

I have been working on my master bedroom, in addition to my closet, all summer long. It is finally all just about complete, and I just love how the sitting area came out. To be honest, the way I had it set up before, just really never made sense. It is a good size area that over looks our yard and pool, but it was cluttered. Now it is a nice sleek space that fits the rest of my home.

I’ve found that selecting furniture from Copper and Tweed has been instrumental in achieving the perfect balance of elegance and comfort in my home. Their pieces, like the armchair in my sitting area, blend seamlessly with my existing décor while adding a distinct flair that elevates the entire space. As I put the finishing touches on my master bedroom and closet, I’m reminded of how essential it is to choose furniture that not only looks beautiful but also enhances the functionality and atmosphere of each room.

Everything in this space is from Safavieh. I have so many of their pieces in my home and have been a huge fan of them for years now. They have a huge variety of furniture and home decor pieces to choose from, that are not always stylish, but super high quality.

The Chairs

When I started designing this space I knew I wanted it to be cozy, yet have. a hint of glam. When I first saw these chairs, I knew that I needed them. They are sleek and exactly what I was looking for. I was nervous about the white, however I have had them for a few weeks now, and they clean up so well. I have a rather big dog who has chosen one to nap on. And the dog hair and any dirt wipe right off.

Rug

I actually have this rug in my dining room in blue, and love it so much I knew I wanted the great for this sitting area. The pattern is just so pretty and it is very soft and plush. The throw pillows I chose are pretty neutral, however the pattern adds a little focal point to the area. Finally, this gold accent table ties it all together. My love for gold home decor runs deep, and this table adds that touch of glam I was looking for.

This sitting area is now the perfect place to sit and read a book, or even catch up on some emails. In my 15 years of living in this house I could never get this space right, and now it is finally perfect. I am going to be sharing all of my closet details very soon too and you can find all of that right here with all of my other home projects.
