I am sorry but where has this year gone?! I not believe we are well into Fall already? I am not mad about it though because I love Fall fashion and it also means I am close to decorating for the holidays hehe. I wanted to share with you my five must haves for Fall that are also staples you will wear year after year.
Five Must Haves For Fall
The Dad Coat
I have to admit I was a little leery of this trend what I first purchased this coat last year. Mostly because I am petite and only 5’2″ and I was afraid it would overwhelm me, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. Some brands even offer them in petite lengths too (like this one). I just love the way it looks paired with casual jeans, sneakers, and hat like above. But it also a great option to throw over a dressier look as well.
Combat Boots
Combat boots are my favorite thing in the world! Last year I splurged on these from Chanel because I knew I would wear them a ton. I also live in Connecticut where our Fall and Winter seasons seem to last forever. However there are so many great pairs and all different prices points so you can snag the perfect pair without breaking the bank.
Moto Jackets
I wear Moto jackets ALL OF THE TIME. Literally Fall through Spring you can find me with one on. They look super cute with a dress and boots, or even with a pair of leggings or joggers. I love buying pieces that are so versatile and I that I can literally wear with anything. I also love that add a bit of edge to any look.
Smocked Tops
These tops are just so elegant and pretty. They are easy to wear and super feminine. Sometimes Fall clothing can be a bit bold and heavy, so I love these to sort of lighten up your look. They are also very flattering on most body types.
Faux Leather Anything
I know that’s a pretty general category but my love for faux leather runs deep. The infamous Spanx leggings are a staple for as long as I can remember now. However there are also so many other gorgeous pieces like joggers, skirts, and blazers that you can add to your wardrobe.
