Easy and Healthy School Lunch Ideas For the Kids

Easy and Healthy School Lunch Ideas For the Kids

The kids are heading back to school soon and as mom, preparing school lunch ideas can be stressful. Especially when trying to pack something they’ll actually eat! Prepping both lunch and snack ideas ahead of time will help you not scramble or send the kids off with not-so-healthy meals. See below for my list of simple and healthy ideas plus some of my favorite finds like utensil sets and thermoses to shop!

In case you missed it, I shared a Roundup of Amazon Back to School finds Under $50!

+Veggie medley – a veggie bowl is one of my go-to’s because you can change it up by adding different vegetables each week to keep it fun! Some of my favorites are sweet potatoes, beets, green beans, and steamed broccoli. Toss in a handful of sliced almonds and drizzle some light dressing on top!

+Quinoa salad – quinoa works great in salads to make them more filling and as a pasta alternative. Add your child’s favorite veggies and / or choice of meat for a dish they’ll love and finish!
