Pantry Organization That Dreams Are Made Of

One of the most common resolutions and goals to kick off the new year is to get organized. I have personally always been obsessed with organizing the house. I love for everything to have its place, it honestly just brings me so much joy. The biggest problem with doing this though is the time it takes. Extra time isn’t something any of us have a lot of so it organizing usually takes a backseat. I have been trying to organize my pantry for over 3 years now and have failed miserably.

It was time to bring in some extra help so I decided to contact Next Level Organizing out of Trumbull Connecticut. I had been following them on Instagram for awhile and was in owe of their work, it is some serious inspo! Can I just tell you that what I got was an organized pantry that dreams are made of.

Working with Emily and her team was nothing short of amazing. They included me in the entire process to make sure I was okay with where they put everything. It is important that what they did made sense for me and my family and worked with our everyday lives. They were so knowledgable about what works and what doesn’t and putting a fresh set of eyes on things made the world of difference.

Everything is now categorized, labeled, and has a home. I even have a 5 Gallon Plastic Pail and other storage containers in our pantry.

Now I also have a gift wrapping station on the back of my pantry door which is amazing. Before I had things thrown into a drawer and had no idea what I even had! Now I can easily access everything and quickly wrap presents.

I think the best part of all is that now I can actually see what I have, what I am out of, and what I need to buy which makes shopping so much easier. It is also super easy to keep organized. Literally once a week I go in and shuffle things back where they belong since there is now a place for everything. The kids can easily pick out their snack, I can see when I need to buy more cereal, all of the dogs treats are together, etc.

The biggest lesson learned from watching them work was that the key to properly organizing is to take every single thing out and start from scratch. If you don’t use it regularly find another home for it. I had so much stuff in there (like seasonal/home decor items) that really should be stored away in the basement. By doing this I got rid of so much unnecessary clutter.

I will say that using a professional organizer like Next Level Organizing was just awesome. I want to go through and re-organize my entire house now! If you are local you seriously need to contact her, you will be SO happy you did. Linking everything used in my pantry below.
