Today I wanted to share with you my vanity and makeup storage/organization. I am a fairly organized (okay OCD) person. It is very important to me that everything in my home and office be as organized as possible in my mini storage so I can quickly get what I need. Like most people I am busy so I am all about efficiency.
This is my “dressing area” outside of my bedroom closet. The couch is from Raymour and Flanigan quite a few years ago. The wall mirror is actually jewelry storage, which I bought from QVC, where I put my rings, earrings, antique pocket watches, etc. The rug is from Overstock, and the lingerie chest is from Pier 1.
I absolutely love this lighted mirror from Vanity Girl Hollywood, the bright lights make it so much easier for my to apply my makeup. The outlets are convenient, I can plug in my curling iron to do my hair or even just charge my phone. I have the mini version of the desk I linked above (the one I have is no longer available). I really wish I had the larger one because I would love more space but it just wouldn’t fit on the wall where I needed it to be. I keep all of my makeup brushes out so I can easily choose the one I need. I also keep q-tips and the skincare items I use daily out right on top of my vanity. The large cosmetic organizer is honestly the best thing ever, it fits all of my makeup perfectly. I purchased mine so long ago but linked a similar above.
Above you can see how everything is organized. Every drawer has a specific type of product so I know exactly where everything is. This helps my get ready so much faster in the morning because I am not wasting time looking for a product. I always do my hair standing up in the bathroom so all of my hair tools and products I keep in there.
