My Makeup Routine- Eyes

Hey guys!  Last week I shared with you my makeup routine and favorite products for a flawless face (you can read about that here).  This week I wanted to share with you my favorite eye products and how I apply them.

1)The first thing I do is apply MAC’s paint pot in Painterly all over my lid as an eye shadow primer, it evens out my lid and helps my eye shadow stay put longer.  I then apply my eye shadow.  I have been loving Anastasia Beverly Hill’s eye shadows the past few years.  They have great pigment and really last.  I have all of her palettes and lots of singles  , I always mix up the colors I am using.  For a neutral eye I typically apply Vanilla under my brow and in the inner corner, Burnt Orange and Caramel in my crease, Legend on my lid, then Hot Chocolate under my bottom lash line as eyeliner.

2)Stila Stay All Day waterproof liquid eye liner is my all time favorite, it just does not move and still looks perfect at the end of the day.  I always line my upper lid with it and slightly wing it out.  I then use MAC white eyeliner pencil in my bottom water line to really open up and brighten my eye.

3) For eyelashes I think the process is just as important as the product.  My favorite mascara’s are Maybelline Colassal Volume and Illegal length (I do also like Benefit’s Their Real).  I usually curl them using this then apply a coat of both mascaras.  I wait for them to dry then I curl and apply a coat of each again.  Then once dry I curl again.  I heard before that you shouldn’t curl your eyelash’s after mascara but I have never ever had a problem and it really makes all the difference for me.  I also think its important to use both a voluminous and lengthening mascara for optimal results.  I do wear false eyelashes for special occasions or going out.  I love these from Ardell and use this glue.

4) Eyebrows for me are the most time consuming.  I use Anastasia Beverly Hill’s brow whiz in dark brown to draw out the shape I want.  I then use Anastasia Beverly Hill’s brow powder, in dark brown, and brush to fill them in and make them look more natural.  I finish off by using Anastasia Beverly Hill’s brow gel.

For eye shadow brushes I really like the one that comes with the Anastasia palettes and have been using it a ton lately for bledning.  I also have this one from Chanel I use all the time in the crease.

Next week I am sharing my favorite cheek an lip products.  Thanks for reading and a great week!
