It’s that time of year again! Time for us to start thinking about heading back to school for In-School and Outdoor Education Classes. Can you believe it? I feel like the summer only just started, and here we are, ready to head out back to school supply shopping! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that my oldest graduated from Kindergarten! That means we’ll have a first grader on our hands this school year.
Even though I’m shocked the summer is already coming to a close, Joseph is so excited to be getting back to school to see his friends and meet his teacher. There was so much uncertainty last year, and he was such a trooper through all of it.
At any rate, I know he’s going to have another great year. I wanted to share what we’ve gotten him so far for the year.
Back to School Ready
As always, our go-to place for backpacks, lunch boxes and more is Pottery Barn Kids. Last year, Joseph had a really adorable Paw Patrol backpack. But this year, he was committed to an outer space theme. We love all of their backpack and lunchbox styles and made sure to pick up one of each. Joseph also wanted a matching water bottle and pencil case, so we made sure to pick one of those up as well!
For his lunchbox, I’ve always loved these bento box style containers. They hold just the perfect amount of food for my little guy, and nothing touches (kids…am I right?) Here in New England, our winters get super cold! So, I really like packing Joseph a hot lunch to warm him up on those days. PBK makes the perfect container for keeping that food warm (and of course it had to match everything else!). Finally, utensils are a must, and these are the perfect little set!
We are really looking forward to a great year for our boy, and I know he’ll be great!
