How I Cover My Dark Circles

Covering dark undereyes can be challenging. It is really trial and error and trying to figure out what works best for you. It took me so long to get it down pat but I have been using the below products and they cover and brighten so well. Below is the steps I take and how I cover my dark circles.

  1. You always want start by applying an eye cream. It is important to prep the area for makeup, depuff, and smooth any fine lines. I have been loving this one.
  2. Once that sets in you are going to dab on Becca’s Undereye Brightening Corrector and pat it in with your damp Beautyblender. This is a miracle worker and really does an amazing job at brightening (my secret weapon).
  3. Then you are going to generously apply Tarte’s Shape Tape Concealer and pat it into your skin with your Beautyblender until it is seamlessly blended in. This concealer covers better then anything else I have tried without settling in any lines.
  4. Next pick up some of Laura Mercier’s Brightening Powder with your Beauty Blender and place it on top of the entire under eye area to set it then dust off any excess with a brush.  I love it because it is not heavy and does not look dry or cakey.
  5. Lastly you are going to pick up a very small amount of Laura Mercier’s Secret Camouflage Concealer with your pointer finger and pat it into just the dark part of your “circle”.

Using the above in that order has worked wonders for me. I get told I don’t look tired even when I am running off of a couple hours of sleep.
