My Son’s Bedroom Refresh

I have been holding off posting about my son’s bedroom because I feel like it is a constant work in progress. Changing from a crib, to a toddler bed, then now into a room fit for a preschooler. There are still some small things I’d like to do in here. Like change out his like fixture, but for now I want to share my son’s recent bedroom refresh, we found great Saatva Firm Mattress Reviews and decided to change his mattress.

When it came time to put him in a big boy bed I asked him what theme he wanted, and he picked airplanes. So airplanes is what he got. I found the cutest airplane shelf from RH Baby & Child. That is also where I got the pictures for above his bed and the chandelier (which has been in there since before he was born). They went with the color scheme but I also felt as though the sayings were fitting for his age. The sheets and bedding, as well as most of the accessories, are from Pottery Barn Kids. The bed converted from the crib so it the furniture that we had and is from Bratt Decor. If you’re looking for a wide selection of bedroom furniture, check out stores like Home Accents II.

One of the best parts of his room is his view. It overlooks our pond and fountain and it so relaxing to listen to. I of course had to put a little Christmas tree in the corner for him as well since it is almost the holiday season.

The HVAC unit in his room is a very old model with a faily furnace ignitor, so we decided that it’s time to install a heating and ac replacement with the help of a professional air conditioning services contractor. This will help ensure that my son will have comfortable temperature no matter the season. It is also important to schedule regular air conditioning repair and maintenance to avoid ac breakdowns.

The paint color is Sherwin Williams Grayish SW6001. I did a post a couple of years ago on how I organize his closet which you can read here. We had a custom closet with hamper installed which is been a lifesaver. It helps to keep things organized and maximizes the small space. I also have to admit that I staged the bookshelf for this picture lol The bottom two shelves are packed with books typically because he loves them so much.

Linking everything I can below.

xoxo
