Our Backyard Pool and Patio

I am super excited to share with you guys our entire backyard pool and patio area. We are out here almost every single day from May through September. Believe it or not we use to just have a deck and grass back here! In 2012 we knocked it down and installed the patio and bar. Then in 2015 we installed the pool. It is one of the best things we have ever done! We love this area so much and what better way to entertain the kids? We also added a pizza oven last year. Here is our backyard and pool area.

So the first thing I want to show you are these new bar stools from Safavieh that I just got this year. I can’t even tell you how much I am obsessed with them! They look insanely expensive but are much more affordable than similar looking stools. They just brighten up this whole section of the patio and bar area. The quality is also amazing not to mention they are so comfortable to sit in. They were exactly what I needed to enhance this space. (A big thank you to Safavieh for gifting them to me!

When we installed the pool, we also added fountain features that shoot right over the fence. There is also a sitting bench, which you can kind of see to the right. The fountain is filled with saltwater and heated (we keep it on 90 degrees). We added two palm trees to give it a resort like feel, too.

Most of the furniture back here is from Frontgate and we have had it since we installed the pool. It has held up really well and over the years and just love the way it looks. I really wanted to do black and white cushions and pillows but the kids little furniture pieces are navy and white so I wanted to tie it all together.

We also have an entire other patio not pictured that is on the other side of the arborvitaes you see in the bar area. We hardly go over there but plan on some day converting it into a covered cabana area.
